You will enjoy a self guided tour around the Fortress or take one of the excellent guided tours offered by Parks Of Canada as you step back in time to the early 1700s and learn about this fascinating and battle seiged Fortress and Port that was built by the French.

Stop At: Louisbourg Lighthouse, Havenside Road, Louisbourg, Nova Scotia Canada
Enjoy the views and admire what is now the 3rd lighthouse at the same location. You will be able to see the ruins of the previous two including the very first lighthouse in Canada.

Stop At: Mira River Provincial Park, Brickyard Road, Nova Scotia B1K 2R9 Canada
Enjoy driving along the banks of the Mira River, a great river for fishing year round, and many water sport activities. There will be photo opportunities offered here.

Stop At: Cape Breton Island, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
During this tour you will enjoy a 40min drive to and From Sydney and Louisbourg as you do your guide will keep you informed with many stories about the island, and explain the history, present and future plans for the island. As you arrive back in Sydney enjoy a mini city tour of Sydney before returning to your drop off location.
